How do I navigate the site?
Il Bello has made and continues to make every effort to ensure that your able to easily move around our website. We feature pictures of our products, a "view cart" option on every page and if you want to return to the Home page easily just click on the header of any page to get you there. Do you assemble favors?
We do assemble favors for an extra fee and we also carry all the essentials needed for you to create your own custom favor assembly including but not limited to favor boxes, tissue paper, glue dots, basket shred, tulle, tulle circle, candy, almonds, ribbons, tags, favor display and more.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We currently accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard as our preferred methods of payment. We will also accept wire transfers which will incur an additional $25 processing fee. Orders will ship within 3 -7 days business of days of the charge settlement. We apologize for the inconvenience but we no longer accept checks or money orders.
Do your favors come boxed?
Most of our favors come in a box, some will be in a regular packaging box (most of the time this box is a plain white box) and some are deluxe favor boxes. There are a few items that come as a case and are not individually boxed. Most descriptions will indicate whether there is a box or not but if you have a question in regards to the type of box a favor comes in please contact us so we can provide additional details regarding the favor box for that product.
Will you be able to obtain an item not presently on your website?

Are all your products made in Italy?
Please note that while we are an Italian favor specialist not all of our products are made in Italy. If the product is made in Italy, it will indicate so in the description. Any additional questions regarding our products can be submitted via email to email@example.com.
What is your refund policy?
Il Bello Italian Favors stands behind every product it sells. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the product you have purchased from the Il Bello Italian Favors website you can exchange the merchandise in its original packaging and condition for another product. Please contact us via email or via our Customer Service line 877 544 4245. Replacement merchandise will be shipped via USPS so please allow time for its arrival. You do have the option to expedite a replacement by paying an additional fee.
Of course, we also accept returns. Simply email us at info@ilbelloitalianfavors or call us toll free (877) 544 4245 within three days of receiving your order for an "Return Authorization"(no exceptions). No returns will be accepted without a "Return Authorization" which must be indicated on the return shipping label to be accepted by the warehouse. Please note that some products are not eligible for return. These include: personalized, edible, perishable, sample, clearance and special order items. Handmade sachets, confetti favors, and ribbon are considered special order items and cannot be returned. Please make sure what you order is what you want.

Do you offer any discount coupons?
We understand how important it is to present the perfect favor at your event and we make every effort to offer quality products at prices to suit all budgets. Unfortunately, we no longer honor discounts not listed on the website. We do offer free shipping for Confetti Favor orders, so be sure to seek that out.

What if I refer someone will I receive a discount towards a future purchase?
We appreciate your taking the time to refer our site to your friends and family. In appreciation, we will reward you with a 5% discount on your next purchase with us. Simply have your friend or relative mention that they were referred to us by you so we can note it on their order. They will be rewarded by receiving an automatic 3% referral discount on their current purchase and all you will be eligible for a 5% discount on your next purchase. Can I return candy/lollipops or other edible items?
Understandably, we can not accept any edible products, once delivered.
Can I cancel my back order?
Back orders may be cancelled by contacting us at @ 877 544 4245 within 7 days of back order notification. Please request a cancellation authorization code from the representative to have it reflected in your purchase order and begin the refund process.
Refunds will be processed within 7 - 14 days. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed. Please note that your financial institution will take approximately seven business days to reflect this transaction. Is there a minimum purchase limit?
We originally structured our prices so that our customers would receive the best available price without having to place bulk purchases. However, requests for specific products have resulted in imposing minimum purchase requirements but only because the manufacturers offer better prices if we place orders for complete cases as the need sometimes arises where we have the vendor ship to you directly. We are then able to maintain lower prices and pass that savings onto you.
All minimum purchase requirements are noted in the description and must be adhered to. Orders which do not adhere to the minimum purchase requirements will be subject to a $10 fee (no exceptions) This fee is deductible from final orders exceeding $150 when applicable to a purchase of the same product. Please notify us via firstname.lastname@example.org once you receive your final order confirmation requesting that the fee deduction be applied to have the adjustment processed.
Do you charge tax?
By Federal law we are required to charge tax rate for any credit cards with a billing address within New York State. The current sales tax for New York billing addresses is 8.8375%. As long as the law does not change, all other states will remain tax exempt.
What is your shipping method?
Our preferred shipping method are UPS, FedEx and USPS for both domestic and international orders. We will select the shipping method that will allow us to remain within the shipping rate for your order so that you do not incur any additional shipping fees. This may not always be the case so while we would like to remain within the listed flat rate shipping rates we may need to contact you about the additional shipping fee your order has incurred. Can I obtain samples of your products?
We work hard to furnish our site with quality product images but we understand that you may still wish to request product samples. Please contact us prior to placing any sample orders to ensure that your sample request will be processed. Please select the below minimum fee when placing your order. Please note that this fee can be deducted if your final order exceeds $200. Simply contact us via email@example.com to obtain the code to have this fee deducted frorm your final order.
Note: There is a maximum of 5 samples per order.
How do I file a claim for damaged, defective or missing products?
All claims for damaged, defective or missing product(s) must be filed with Il Bello Italian Favors within 3 business days (no exceptions) of receiving your order. Please call our customer service department at 877- 544 4245 to initiate a claim. Products must be available for inspection by UPS/FedEx for a minimum of 7 days from the initiation of the claim. UPS/USPS/FedEx will contact you to make an appointment to inspect the products in question.
Please note that Il Bello Italian Favors will assist in filing the initial claim for damaged, defective or missing products but is not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier (UPS/USPS/FedEx) upon it's return to Il Bello. Any subsequent claims must be filed by the client with the responsible freight carrier at http://www.ups.com/claims / www.FedEx.com / www.usps.com.
Replacement orders will not be shipped until shipping carrier has paid the claim, so please allow a minimum of 2 weeks to receive a replacement order. If you do not wish to receive a replacement for the defective items and prefer to return the product(s), please contact a representative to obtain a return authorization (return authorization codes must be indicated on the return shipping label in order for the return to be accepted by the warehouse). Return the item as instructed by the representative. All authorized returns will be accepted as long as the merchandise in its original packaging and condition. What if my package is lost?
Il Bello Italian Favors is not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier. However, we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the appropriate party. Please keep all products in their original packaging until the claim is settled. Replacements will be sent via USPS once the claim has settled and can take up to 2 weeks (especially for order requires assembly). If your order was shipped via USPS (USPS will be utilized for all "Free Shipping" orders) and if five (5) or more postal business days have passed since the date of mailing you may call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) to request documentation of your issue.
Refusal of your order may incur a 25% restocking fee unless you are instructed by a representative to "refuse" your package (no exceptions).
How do I change or cancel my order?
You may change or cancel your order by calling us @ 877 544- 4245 (only) within 24 hours as long as the order has not been processed. If the order has been processed, there will be a 15% restocking fee (no exceptions). Please note: Personalized items are processed as they are received and will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
Will I receive a shipment confirmation of my order?
Once your Il Bello Italian Favor order has been processed you will receive an email confirmation of your order. This email will contain details of your order including your order number, product description and total amount paid. You will receive a second email once your order is shipped. This email will contain your tracking number.
How long will it take to receive the orders?
If the item you ordered is in stock it will ship within 3 to 7 business days. Normal US shipping time is 1-7 days from our warehouse. We provide a shipping timetable on our home page to help determine shipping time. Understandably, back ordered or personalized orders may take longer. You will be notified if an item in on back order and when to expect your shipment. If a back-order shipment is unacceptable you can cancel your order (please obtain a cancellation code for your records).
A refund will process within 7 - 10 days business days. and be finalized by PayPal within 5-10 days. Can I order sample confetti ribbon favors?
Yes, in fact, we urge you to order a sample confetti favor ribbon of interest to you. It will help you to determine which best suits your favor needs, color scheme, theme, etc. Sample confetti favor shipping rate is $6.50.

Does your shipping include duty/tax on Canadian orders?
Our shipping rates do not include the Canadian duty fee or tax applied to orders clearing through Canadian customs. Any fees of this nature are to be incurred by the recipient of the order.
Please ensure that you verify the duty / tax fee prior to submitting your order as returned orders which are not accompanied by a return authorization will not be accepted (no exceptions).

Why are my confetti favors different from eachother?
We make every effort to ensure that our confetti favors are assembled exactly as depicted but we may need to make occasional substitutions i.e. flowers and that any variances are due to their being individually hand-assembled.
All of our custom made favors are createdwe make every effort to assemble them all the same there may be slight variations.

Are your favors already giftwrapped?
No, giftwrapping is extra.

Some products indicate "Italian design", "artisan crafted" and or "artisan collection" are they made in Italy?
Please note that while a lot of our products are of Italian origin we also carry products that are manucfactured in China to resemble Italian designs and we do our best to indicate them as "artisan crafted", "Italian design", or "Murano artisan Collection" and why they are offered at much more reasonable prices because they are not imported from Italy.
Should I provide images if there is something wrong with my order?
Any damage, loss, missing product or issue with your order should be substantiated with images (no exceptions). Understandably, we can not verify or proceed with a claim or how to address an issue without evidence of the discrepancy. It also helps to expedite claims with freight carriers.
I have applied the CAN flat rate to my order when can I expect to receive my shipment?
Please note that the CAN Flat Rate Envelope / Favor Ribbons & Tags ONLY option only applies to personalized favor ribbons and tags. Orders shipped within a flat rate envelope will take 6-12 days from ship date. Our personalized favor ribbons and tags may take, at least, one week to generate depending on the size of your order.
Do I have to be home to sign for my package?
For your protection, we would advise to always notify the shipper to request a signature. Unless we are notified to do so, we will waive the "signature required" option. As a result, It is the freight carriers discretion as to whether they will require a signature for the package.
Please note that we acknowledge delivery notifications as a completion of our obligation.
What if my package is stolen after it's delivered?
In the unlikely event that your package is stolen after delivery, a claim for reimbursement might be considered by the freight carrier for which we will provide supportive documentation to aid in the faciliation of the claim.

What if your item indicates in stock but is on back-order?
If the event that your order or any part of your order is found to be on back-order, we will notify you and likely provide you with images of alternate items for consideration via email.

However, we reserve the right to cancel an order at any time, if there is an exception on the back-order.
I live outside of the US, do your prices include the VAT fees?
No, the prices shown are only the cost of the favor. The per favor price does not include the VAT or any other fees.
What if I decide not to pay the Duty/Vat Fees upon receipt?
Your order may not be released by Customs if you do not pay the Duty/Vat fees. Any order placed online is acknowledgement of Il Bello Italian Favors Terms and Conditions. As a result, any returned order without a Return Authorization will not qualify for a refund of any kind. NO EXCEPTIONS.
I placed an order, when is my credit card charged?
Our order processing system 101 .....
Upon finding the perfect favor for your event...You, the customer, submits his credit card for payment of the order and the company we utilize for all secure transactions then passes the secure transaction information via a secure connection to the Processor.
The Processor submits the transaction to the credit card network (like Visa or MasterCard). The credit card network routes the transaction to the bank that issued the credit card to you (the customer).
The issuing bank (the bank that issued you the card) approves or declines the transaction based on the customer's available funds and passes the transaction results back to the credit card network.
The credit card network relays the transaction results to the merchant bank's processor. The processor relays the transaction results to our secure transaction processor.
Once approved, our processor stores the transaction results and generates the order # for the order you placed on our website. You (the customer) and we (the merchant) receive simultaneous order confirmations via email to signify that the credit card has been verified and that the charge has been approved. Please note, that we are only able to view the last 4 digits to further protect you against fraudulent charges to your credit card.

Once you have entered your order and are paying with a credit card the authorized amount has been charged to your credit card via a secured n order to process your order. Will I incur Duty/Tax fees on my International shipment?
All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. If duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via Global Express Guaranteed service, they will be collected from the recipient prior to, or upon, delivery.
